Tianshannet: Uighur mobile-newspaper amounted to 715,000 users

Alit shliyef, Deputy Chief of information office of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is talking to mobile phone users.

From May 17 to May 19, a joint research group composed of Alit shliyef, Deputy chief of information office of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Tianshannet, Information Department of Kashi regional Party Committee and the three service operators, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, visited Kashgar, conducted research on contents construction of "Tianshan Express" and the situation of mobile-newspaper of Tianshannet landing in Kashi Region.

"Tianshan Express", Uighur mobile-newspaper of Tianshannet, is one of the 100 key livelihood projects of the autonomous region in 2013. "Tianshan Express" was formally launched in June 2012 and it is mainly aimed at Uighur phone users in three regions and autonomous prefectures in southern Xinjiang. Up to now, the user number has reached 715,000. "Tianshan Express" sends or accepts subscription with no pay and is delivered to user's mobile phone at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each working day.
